It sounds distinctive when rymed with Caroline.

Naturally, I was brought into this world as someone—the daughter of a once-upon-a-time couple who loved each other. But life, as I quickly learned, is never quite so harmonious. My name is Aline Caroline Pires.

Under a roof defined by constraints in Brazil, I grew as a storyteller of untold tales. I wasn’t truly allowed to be more independent than my older brother until, at 27, I left my mother’s house to study English in Australia.

Despite building an incredible, voluminous library in my single bedroom—filled with books, annual diaries, and earned certificates—I missed the lyrics. Uncountable pages of whispering wisdom were beyond my reach.

However, I was not beautiful. Painful acne shaped my career start at the age of 16. I was boiling. I used to play Whitney Houston on my walkman in maximum volume against the radio ‘I never found anyone who fulfilled my needs / A lonely place to be / And so I learned to depend on me’. (“The Greatest Love of Al” by Carolyn McHugh).

In my transformation into a hard-working professional, I knew I needed to surround myself with people.

Great handshakes precede great actions. Eye contact. Smile. No rings. ("The Million Dollar Handshake" by Catherine Molloy) And I eventually, became an accomplished Public Relations professional.

Ready to embrace English as a mother, it became real with the birth of my son. Really. Giving birth was a nine-hour process for me, including passing outs and anesthesia that didn’t work.

I transcend. The ability to maintain resilience in English among different conditions is phenomenal. This lingua franca is the most spoken language in the world ("English Language" in Wikipedia), creating a striking parallel with significances that are universal.

Yet, not everyone sees the value of what I do. They may have gut instinct but lack comparable experience. They may have information but not eloquence. They may achieve results but miss core value propositions. They may be experts in their field but don’t know how to make their content palatable.

I am a skilled writer—I clarify thoughts into structured communication.

I am not a machine, though. Nor do I wish to beat one. She does not deserve such treatment. Instead, I set the example of what good work looks like. And I don’t expect her to be perfect either.

Perfect is an illusion. There’s always room for improvement. And if not, someone will criticize simply because perfection is not accepted as an attainable praise for a human being.

Work must be about strong effort. If you’re not passionate about what you do, you will get no benefit out of it.

My writing relays intuitive passion for the subjects I write about. It guides me further, almost like a nirvana of thoughts coming through my hands. That is why I do not procrastinate. Productivity demonstrates knowledge, technique, assertiveness, and most importantly, responsibility.

If you want great content, hands-down! Let me entertain you.

The idea of leveraging your business through written content, no matter the industry, is about sensible authenticity. In other words, it should be reliable so that everyone understands.

Don’t get me wrong—I have no doubt that no one knows your message better than you do. You just need to add the right tone to your voice.

Words can revamp anything. Even a business. Even a self.

So why not start speaking the language of your customers, rather than your own topics?

In my extensive experience, I have witnessed innumerable customer advocacy initiatives and well-established complaints processes, making companies through something akin to a rite of passage. They evolve and gain awareness.

Because, between us, execution is supposed to be attractive, not for cover purposes. Your image is important. How do you want to be known in the market? ‘A bad attitude indicates low energy levels’. Therefore, your voice better sound like ‘I am here to help you as best as I can’. (Catherine Molloy)

'People who are successful and effective in their careers and social circles develop not only an expertise in their field but an overall polish in appearance and demeanor as well’. ("Etiquette Rules! A Field Guide to Modern Manners" by Nancy R. Mitchell)

Resolving conflicts requires learning how to control emotions, including how they are conveyed in writing. Analyze concerns and problem-solve. Have difficult conversations. ‘Demonstrate respect and tolerance. Deal with people as individuals before mentally assigning them to a group and making assumptions.' (Nancy R. Mitchell)

‘Each person deals with people in different ways. Some people want only the facts and business-related data. They don’t want to be your friend, and they don’t want you to waste their time. Others want to hear about you before starting any business discussion’. (Nancy R. Mitchell)

One way or the other, the stories we tell, the actions we take, and the way we express ourselves matter. We are all storytellers in our own right, whether in our personal or professional lives. The key is to embrace who we are and let that truth guide us forward.

My journey has not been without its challenges, but each one has contributed to who I am today. And as I continue to navigate the path ahead, I remain steadfast in my belief that words—when chosen wisely—have the power to transform. This is not just my story, but a testament to the potential that lies in all of us to grow, to evolve, and to make a meaningful impact through the language we use, the ideas we share, and the relationships we build. Words, after all, have the power to create something extraordinary—whether it’s in a business, a life, or a legacy.
